Creating your Character

• In order to role-play, you will need to create a character biography on the forums so that you can be identified during In-Character scenes with other members. Your character biography must include several features before it can be approved for role-playing. If a character biography is deemed "incomplete" then it will not be approved until proper changes are made. If a member begins role-playing before their biography is approved then their actions will be considered invalid and void. Once a biography has been approved after making the necessary changes to be considered "valid" then the member is free to role-play with others in the community! Creating a character biography is quite simple if you follow the guidelines listed below. Be sure to include this vital information, otherwise your biography will be considered invalid. When creating a biography be sure to include the following:

• Your character's name
• Your character's age
• Your character's Pokémon team
• The moves your Pokémon know (starter Pokémon are allowed 1 egg move)
• Your character's inventory
• 5BP
• The rank of your Pokémon (They start at Rank 1)
• An update section where your character's progress is logged (including records of when you catch new Pokémon, when you battle, when you make PokéMart purchases and when your Pokémon go up a rank)

• As long as this information is included within your character biography then you shall be approved for role play. Additionally, several other things can be added to your character biography such as:

• A backstory for your character - this is important if you like to set a story for your character
• An overview of their personality - this helps other role players identify what sort of character you are
• A track record of your wins/losses during battles
• Your character's Dorm
• Your character's Alignment (Good, Lawful Good/Neutral, Neutral Lawful, Neutral Good, Neutral Chaotic/Lawful Evil, Chaotic Evil)
• The date of birth of your character or other detailed information regarding their place of origin (if not detailed within backstory)

Making your Biography

• Your biography can have whatever layout you like and you are encouraged to be creative during the design process! Just be sure to follow the guidelines listed above. It will make it easier for our staff to verify that you have all of the necessary information required to begin role-playing. Your biography can be as in-depth as you want it to be. It's up to you to bring your character to life, so try your best to make it as immersive as possible. For those that are new to coding, be sure to follow the template below. Copy the template, create a new thread and paste it there. Be sure to fill out the template in its entirety to expedite the creation process so that you can begin role-playing immediately!

Ctrl + F is your best friend when searching for where information needs to go if the code gets too complicated. Be sure to include a picture of your character by posting an image url in between the code.
