Travel was never easy for Iliya. He had severe motion sickness and even with medication, his stomach would churn and complain at every bump or sway. Ferry was out of the question and flying was too expensive for someone with as little cash as he had. Train was the only viable option and most of the time he could sleep through it. The morning light shone through the ancient curtains of his carriage but he didn't dare open his eyes. 

A small companion rested in his arms who was very much an early bird. Yawning, Atlas the Piplup squirmed out of his trainers arms and looked out into the great outdoors, shining more light onto his human's face. With a groan, Iliya curled up even more into his jacket but no matter how hard he tried, he was unable to get back to that dream.

"...mm...Atlas....stop playing with the curtains." He groaned, lifting the top of his hoodie up to give his Piplup an annoyed tired look. The penguin pokemon let off a sweat drop before suddenly opening the curtains to their max and blinded his trainer. Like a vampire, Iliya recoiled and shielded his eyes from the light before reaching over and closing them. "Atlas!"

Atlas stared at him for a few seconds before opening the curtains once more and Iliya proceeded to close them. This went on several times before the human gave up and admitted defeat. 

With a sigh, Iliya pulled down his hood and lazily retied his hair back up into its ponytail. "How you can be a morning pokemon I never know." He looked at Atlas before giving a defeated smile, ruffling the tiny pokemon's head and messing up a few feathers. Atlas quickly fixed it of course and pouted at Ili who just gave a light chuckle. "How about breakfas-" Before he could finished, the train suddenly took a corner and his stomach dropped and face turned green. 

"ugh....maybe no food for me, I don't want to waste food." He said with a struggle as his stomach complained. Iliya took a few calming breaths and drank some water but it only did so much, he just had to hold on until they arrived to their destination.

"Please mind your step when departing. We hope you enjoyed your time and welcome to Hammerlocke."

Iliya departed the train and made a b-line to the bathrooms to proceed to be sick. Washing his face and hands, he finally came out, looking a little pale but finally he had made it to the Galar Region. "This is it Atlas, we're here. Now, lets go and win us a Leag-" His stomach let out another gurgle and the trainer quickly darted back into the bathroom. Damn motion sickness.
