Ophelia Shoots Her Way

Ophelia stared at the news about the result of what's happening after Sinnoh: closing the borders, including those for shipment here and out. Her eyebrows furrowed, she understands the situation on that, but that could really affect a lot of local businesses here. “How long do you think this last, papa?” Turning to her father as he grunted, petting the Houndour on his lap. “Not sure, shooting star. I couldn't even get a hold of our cousins in Unova.” Ophelia frowned, least they can still head to iron island, and up around Sinnoh, unless that changes too. Speaking of which….

“Hey Pa?” She inches closer to him. Her pa look over at her, grunting out a yes. “I know this sounds…..stupid, and reckless annnnd selfish, and a lot of thi--”

She made a small eeep! when he said that...he’s correct though. Tugging on her ponytail nervously, she looked down at the ground, afraid to look at his disappointed gaze. “I know, with the shop and everything, I know without me it's tough to make deliveries if I'm out and about on my journey. I'm just using to advertise our shop and-” Oh Arceus, she is rambling.

“You can go.” He stated causing Ophelia to jolt and look up at him in surprised. He wasn't angry, he wasn't disappointed, but he had the neutral ‘In Business Talk’ one. Thaaaaat's better than him lecturing her and possible getting grounded.

“But,” He started, turning more towards her, causing the small houndour to wake up. “You need to pick up and delivery some products as you go on your journey with your Magby.” Ophelia smile, hugging her pa, that is something she can work with, and it's not a problem with her trusty motorcycle. Letting go, she jumped up, pumping her fist into the air. I promised and watch, you'll see me in the league in no time with my custom key holder!!”

He chuckled at that, grabbing onto her hand to stop her from packing what she needs and go. “I'm sure you'll make me proud.”Glances at a photograph of a family that used to be a family of three many years ago. “....Both of us.” Ophelia nodded, yes, she will. She knows her mom is watching them both. 

The sun was nearly was setting when Ophelia finally came out of her home, carrying a bag with her belongings, she throws a pokeball, her little magby comes out of the ball. "Mag-Mag!” The little fire duck explain, hugging her leg. Picking him up and placing it in the sidecar. “Digiduck, we're moving out and claiming Sinnoh!” She explains as she hopped on her ride, starting it up. Digiduck2000 squealed as her places on his helmet at the same time of his trainer. Finally they're free.

Vrooming, off the two went on the road out of Cavalave City, one day she'll come back to face someone important, but for now it's her freedom to shoot across Sinnoh.
