Six months have passed since the events of Sword and Shield, and Galar has once again opened its gates for all to participate in the new season of the Pokémon League.
With only a select few receiving an endorsement, these Trainers must travel the region and win all 8 Gym Badges in order to participate in the final tournament as the whole of Galar watches.

Personality: Joshua is a serious, cold teen hailing from Hearthome City. They have a hard time when interacting with people, having spent most of their time secluded in a hospital. They're not very open to make friends, and they're easily irritable, even though they have good intentions most of the time. They vastly prefer being with pokemon over being with people, and they have a natural affinity with Dragon types, who in turn respect them for their strong spirit, despite their fragile body.
Backstory:Joshua was born in Hearthome after their mother, Clara, came back from a research trip in Unova. Perhaps one that was too leisurely, since she had a few flings on her time there, including the Opelucid Gym Leader, Drayden. After Joshua was born, Clara settled down with another man, Lucas. However, Josh had been fighting since before being born, being a premature baby, and struggling to thrive. For that reason and many others, they grew up sickly and constantly coming in and out of the Hearthome Hospital. While they were there, Joshua loved to see the contests being broadcasted in TV, and longed to be a Top Coordinator. Now, at 14, Joshua has finally ran away from home with a shiny Axew, a gift from Lucas, to achieve their dream and escape from a prison-like life, no matter how short it ends up being because of it.
