People of Unova, Azure Academy, People of SInnoh Battle Information (Post-Azure). 15BP — Won: 2 — Lost: 1 — Draw: 0 APPEARANCE | PERSONALITY Hair Colour. Light Brown Eye Colour. Green Style. Bryony, now out of the Academy, now dons a more modest and weather-appropriate style of dress. She is seen with a black-and-white striped tee with denim jeans rolled past the ankle, as well as black shoes with golden-yellow spiral design. When in colder areas, she can be seen wearing an additional black cardigan and golden-yellow scarf. A pair of sunglasses rests atop her head, and like many Trainers, wears a belt with her Pokeball's secured onto. Notable Features. When Bryony smiles, she only has one dimple, and her eyeliner ends with tiny wings. She has shrapnel scars from an incident involving Neo-Plasma on parts of her body, some too faded to notice but a few more predominant, specifically on her upper shoulder/back area. Her abdomen area has some too. Personality. Like the sun sign she was born under, Bryony Wendell is an ambitious and focused individual. When there is a goal, she will focus all her time and energy to that objective until it is completed. That being said, she borders on being something of a perfectionist, and this can cause her to maybe get in over her head and lose her realistic view for a brief period. Her realism can make her seem pessimistic and cold to others. While she is serious, and straight-forward in her remarks, she has no intention of hurting anyone with her sharp wit. Until she does, and that is very easy to notice. Stoic but also lax, she does not allow her emotions to be read easily, which can further the perception that she is cold and distant. Further more, Bryony is also skeptical and wary of strangers and acquaintances. Her cautiousness is not without its merits, as the troubles in Unova and the recent troubles in Sinnoh have made her distrusting of almost anyone outside her circle. However, if time, effort, and reassurance of trust and loyalty is put into a friendship, Bryony will warm up and allow others to enter her life if she finds them worthy of it. BACKSTORY | ATTRIBUTES Backstory. Despite her place of origin being listed as Castelia City, Bryony was born a few cities away in Opelucid City. Her parents moved to the central city once she turned three, but another three years later her parents filed for divorce over disagreements on how and where to raise their daughter. Originally, Bryony left with her father to Hoenn, where they lived on the family ranch. As time went on, however, she grew tired of the countryside life, and returned to Unova at age thirteen to live with her mother in a townhouse in Castelia City. Bryony was present when both Plasma and Neo-Plasma shook Unova to its core. One day, while at the Casteliacone Ice Cream Booth where she worked, an explosion went off a few shops down. She survived mainly to her distance from the initial blast, but it didn't stop her from seeing all the injuries and horrors of the incident, or from getting grazed up with shrapnel. The attack left a traumatic influence on her, and Bryony now experiences high levels of anxiety over too-loud noises and dense crowds in a small area. Her anxiety takes the form of shutting down, and mixed with her genuinely stoic attitude, it can be hard to know when exactly she is just being herself or having an anxiety attack. Those close to her know to tell by the look in her eyes or her tone of voice. Her main outlet to alleviate stress is battling. After Neo-Plasma had been defeated, she turned to park and subway battles in her downtime she could better form strategy and learn to battle better, as well as defend herself. When she heard of Azure Academy, she applied quickly after, seeing it as an opportunity to both better herself and her Pokémon, as a well as an escape from Unova. However, after the attack on Azure Academy, Bryony has become lost, wondering what else she can do besides roam a region that she, like before, is trapped in indefinitely. Likes. Battling. Coffee.
