The video opens with a shot of the Hammerlocke Stadium battle field. The Rotom Phone recording this video would make its way around the battle field and then appear in front of Leader Raihan.
"YOOOO WHAT'S GOOD IT'S YA BOY RAIHANTHAGOD BACK AGAIN WITH THE SEASON PREMIER OF MY POKETUBE SERIES 'DRAGON BATTLES'. WELCOME TO SEASON 8!! LEMME HEAR Y'ALL ROAR!!!"
Raihan screamed into the air.
The Rotom phone pans around to the audience going wild and roaring, showing off various screaming faces and Pokemon as well. It would then go back to showing Raihan.
"So before we get into this video, I just wanna go ahead and say if you're new to my channel, I'm Raihan the Hammerlocke Gym Leader and I made this series called Dragon Battles where I battle VARIOUS different types of trainers at different types of levels, AND SO TODAY, I'mma kick off this season 8 premier by battling at a lower tier, agaaaainnstt--"
The Rotom phone spun and flew across the field showcasing Raihan's opponent for today.
"--Y'ALL GIVE IT UP FOR MY LIL COUSIN, ALL THE WAY FROM KANTO, IGGY GREEN!!"
The crowd cheered as the phone showcased Iggy on the big screen, however she looked a bit confused.
"YOU SAID WE WERE GETTIN' SOMETHIN' TO EAT!!?"
Raihan cackled. "I'LL FEED YOU IF YOU CAN WIN! COME ON, YOU ALWAYS SAID YOU WANTED TO BATTLE ME WHEN YOU GOT YOUR STARTER, SO LET'S SEE IT! SHOW THE GOOD FOLKS THE POKEMON YOU GOT FROM KANTO!"
Iggy took a deep breath. Her demeanor went from confused to acceptance. Raihan clearly pushed her into the spotlight. Everything in Galar seemed to be publicly broadcasted and if Iggy was gonna be champion here, she'd need to get used to it sooner than later.
"ALRIGHT LET'S DO THIS THEN! YOU'RE DEFINITELY PAYING."
Iggy took out her own Rotom Phone and fumbled around finding the record option.
"Okay, if Raihan can do it, so can I. I'll start my own video series of battles and Episode one will be me beating 'the great Raihan' HEH!" Iggy's phone began vibrating, floating around her head as it began recording.
The crowd cheered as both Rotom Phones panned out to showcase the entire battle field. The Official Rotom Drone came flying down, its eyes glowing white. It pulled up a digital screen of Raihan and Iggy's faces.
"Hello! I am Rotom-Drone, the official referee. The exhibition match between Leader Raihan and Challenger Iggy will now commence! This battle will be one on one and when one side's Pokemon is unable to battle, the match will be over! Trainers, get ready!"
Iggy and Raihan prepared their Pokemon. Iggy took a Friend Ball out of her pocket while Raihan took out an Ultra Ball from his.
"Get set!"
They both readied their Poke Balls, enlarging them.
"Go!"
Raihan and Iggy both sent out their Pokemon.
The Rotom phones recording made sure to zoom in on both.
"Bulbasaur, I choose you!"
"Let's get it, Tyrunt!"
Both Pokemon appeared on the field. Tyrunt let out a roar. Bulbasaur rubbed it's face in the grass, and began rolling in it.
"Bulbasaur, huh? You picked a good one! Though I definitely thought you were more the Charmander type."
"I meeaaann..." Iggy looked over to her Bulbasaur who seemed more interested in the grass than battling. "BULBASAUR, BABE, FOCUS! We got a match to win! Use Take Down!"
Bulbasaur hopped up and croaked. It began running towards Tyrunt. Raihan crossed his arms and Tyrunt remained calm. Bulbasaur made impact to Tyrunt and pushed it back slightly, but it remained on it's feet.
"Tyrunt, Fire Fang!" While being in such close range, Tyrunt's mouth sparked flames, and it immediately bit Bulbasaur. There was a mini burst of fire, causing Bulbasaur to fly backwards. "Now, Dragon Tail! Keep up 'cuz!" Tyrunt followed Bulbasaur being thrown across the field, it's tail glowing with bright colored scales. Iggy grunted and assessed the situation as best as she could. "Vine Whip!" While still flipping through the air, just before impact, Bulbasaur swung out it's vines. The vines and tail slapped into each other, propelling both Pokemon back. Bulbasaur finally landed, panting, getting a moment's rest. "You alright?" Iggy began sweating. Bulbasaur nodded.
"Tyrunt, Dragon Tail again!" Tyrunt began charging at Bulbasaur who was planted (heh) firmly on the ground. "Poison Powder!" As Tyrunt got closer, Bulbasaur took a deep inhale and simply exploded a bust of poison spores that Tyrunt ran directly into. Tyrunt began gagging and coughing. "NICE! Okay, okay, now use Leech Seed!"
With Tyrunt poisoned, Bulbasaur shot out a seed from it's bulb. The seed popped open revealing vines that wrapped themselves around Tyrunt. "Mmm.. not bad Iggy." Tyrunt was taking 2 forms of damage, but this wasn't gonna stop Raihan. "Stone Edge on yourself!" he pointed forwards. Tyrunt grunted. Glowing blue jagged rocks began forming around it. The sharp rocks began cutting the vines of the leech seed, causing them to fall off of Tyrunt. It only had to deal with the poison now. "CHEATER! BULBASAUR USE VINE WHIP!" Bulbasaur, with vines rolling out from under its bulb began hopping towars Tyrunt. It began slapping it repeatedly with the vines. Iggy was getting more pumped up. "Yeah! Vine Whip and Vine Whip and Vine Whip!! Keep usin' Vine Whip!" Bulbasaur matched Iggy's energy, screaming out as the slaps got faster and faster. Tyrunt was in trouble. Suddenly, Bulbasaur's vines began glowing. The Rotom phones zoomed in on this. Tyrunt was taking more damage. Was this Overgrow?
Bulbasaur took a brief pause, winding up its vines for a final hit. They rammed into Tyrunt, knocking it into the air.
"YO WHAT WAS THAT? NICE JOB BABE!" Bulbasaur began hopping up and down with its glowing vines. "Look at that, Bulbasaur just learned Power Whip!" Raihan said, grabbing Tyrunt's ball. "Tyrunt, come back!"
Iggy's eyes became glossy. She began jumping up and down. "WE WON BULBASAUR, WE WON AGAINST RAIHAN! AND YOU LEARNED A NEW MOVE, I'M SO FREAKIN' PROUD MAN!"
Raihan began laughing.
"Won? Nah, you powered up, so we're powering up too!"
Raihan's wristband began glowing. The energy in his band surrounded Tyrunt's ball, causing it to grow large and red. The crowd was going wild. It was time for Dynamax! And in an exhibition match! Iggy stopped celebrating, watching this go down.
The Rotom phone zoomed around Raihan, recording every angle. Raihan took a quick video selfie, posing just before tossing the ball. It burst out onto the field, the red energy surrounding Tyrunt causing it grow MASSIVE. Tyrunt had Dynamaxed!
"T Y Y Y R U A A A R G HH H H!!"
Bulbasaur looked like it was about to sob.
"LET'S SEE HOW YOU HANDLE THIS 'CUZ!"
Iggy was stunned. ((The hell Raihan, this is overkill...!)) She grunted and clenched her fist. "NO WAY WE'RE BACKING DOWN TO THIS, BULBASAUR!! I KNOW YOU'VE GOT SOME STRENGTH IN YOU, KNOCK DOWN THAT THING WITH POWER WHIP!" Iggy's determination was admirable. Bulbasaur looked back at her and matched the same determination. It screamed out and began running towards the dynamaxed Tyrunt, vines still hanging out. It slammed down it's vines onto the battle ground, launching itself directly towards Tyrunt like a bullet.
Swinging its two poweful whips, it slapped Tyrunt right in the face. There was actually some power behind it's hit, almost causing Tyrunt to get off balance. The crowd went wild.
"Heh, not bad, but we're ending this. TYRUNT, MAX WYRMWIND!"
Tyrunt roared out, energy forming around it. It shot out a dragon shaped hurricane towards Bulbasaur, causing a massive explosion. The breeze almost took Iggy off her feet, however the audience was protected by the forcefield. Raihan's Rotom appliances stayed firmly in place while Iggy's Rotom phone flew around the field. Bulbasaur had taken a massive hit.
It stood no chance against that attack. Just like that Bulbasaur had been K.O.'d!
"Game. Set. Match! Leader Raihan is the winner!"
Tyrunt roared and began shrinking back down to it's normal size. More poison had taken effect, putting it in critical condition. Raihan quickly returned it back to it's ball. "HAAHAHAAHA THAT WAS SICK!" Raihan held up his fist, doing a victory pose. "Not bad Iggy! If Bulbasaur held out for just a few more moments, it might've won!" Iggy returned Bulbasaur to it's ball, taking a deep breath. "Anything to say to the viewers?" Iggy turned to Raihan's camera. "Uuhhh... if you see me out and about, let's battle ooorrr don't talk to me at all byeeeee!" You're still feeding me "And there you have it folks!
