"Out of the way, Kriem!" Ferroseed rapidly rolled out of the way, the solarbeam misfiring. Soleil knew she wouldn't be hurt too badly by it, but still wanted to avoid unnecessary damage so close to the end. "Iron Head, Kriem!"

The small seed pokemon rolled on her spot, then launching itself at a blinding speed at the Cherubi. Its eyes seemed to light up, like if remembering something.

Like a raging tauros out of the gates, Kriem's body few at Cherubi with such speed that Gardenia didn't even register what had happened until her pokemon was sliding down the wall behind her, leaving a large dent in the concrete. "Huh...Cherubi?!" She ran over to her pokemon and there was no way she could battle. "...You did your best." She smiled sadly before returning her pokemon to her ball.

"Well done farm boy, you were tough as they come." She approached Soliel and held out a badge. "Congratulations, you got yourself the Forest badge."
The badge glimmered at Soliel. "Take it before I change my mind." Gardenia pouted, looking away with a slight blush.

'damn he's kinda cute up close...'

Sol stood there, a little incredulous of what just happened. The public in Gardenia's gym was cheering his name even Aguni hopping in happiness. Gardenia snapped him out of his thoughts, shining the badge against the Gym's lights and smiling. "Thanks, miss." Sol nodded politely, then remembering.

"Wait, Kriemhild-?"

A light shone from behind Gardenia, a small oval form growing slowly until completely changing forms. Once the light dissapeared, a Ferrothorn stood on the arena.

"Ferr!"

"Kriem!" Sol ran up to his now Ferrothorn, who happily waved her vines at him. "Ya evolved! Yer so big now!" He knelt down, happily giving her pets while being careful of the spikes, Aguni clapping for his teammate. "I'm so proud of ya both! Come on, we gotta show the others yer new forms!" And with that, Sol got back up, leaving the Gym with his two newly evolved pokemon and shiny, flaming badge.
