Candice watched the Charizard's Iron Tail come for the little Snover, returning it and sending out Weavile, who was slammed by the powerful attack. After getting a rough awakening, it shook its head, ready. "Alright, Weavile! Give 'em a good lesson! Aerial Ace!"

In a blink, Weavile made its way over to Charizard, claws ready to attack.

Charizard's attack dealt 350 damage!

Weavile used Aerial Ace!

Charizard was at it's limit. It was going to go down any minute now. Suddenly a red aura formed around Charizard and it's tail flame grew bigger. Charizard's Blaze ability had been activated!
"SICKENING!! Use Fire Blast!"
Charizard screeched and shot out a ball of fire that quickly transformed into a star, exploding in front of Weavile to negate the A.A. damage.

Charizard used Fire Blast!
Damage (+Blaze) = 185 x 2 + 50% = 555

Weavile was suprised by the Fire Blast, its eyes widening. Candice lost no time, reaching out to her pokemon. "Weavile, use the Blizzard to evade it!"

Weavile summoned a raging storm of ice, which pelted against the Fire Blast and weakened it, giving Weavile just enough time to evade it.

Weavile avoided the attack!

Weavile used Blizzard!

Charizard fought valiantly and put a good dent in Candice's battle plan. Dallas was pleased. He returned it to it's Poke Ball and sent out Gallade who immediately face planted as it came out.
"Oh FUCK I forgot about thi- uhgGH WAKE UP!"
Gallade snored.
"GALLADE, HYPNOSIS."

Gallade used Hypnosis!

Candice watched as Gallade woke up and used Hypnosis, returning Weavile to its pokeball and sending out Snover. Snover fell asleep, but Candice shouted a command anyway. "Snover, wake up! Use Grasswhistle!"

Gallade shot out a ball of focused energy towards the sleeping Pokemon.

Although completely justified, Candice frowned at Dallas's confidence, retrieving her fainted Snover after it took a rather brutal Focus Blast. Weavile took its spot again on the arena, sharpening its claws. "You know what to do, Weavile! Aerial Ace!"

Weavile did a small feint, quickly slashing at Gallade afterwards.

Dallas pointed outward, commanding the next attack. "Close Combat! Lets go!" Gallade kicked off the ground rushing towards Weavile who was rushing towards it with an Aerial Ace attack. The two Pokemon began exchanging blow after blow.

The hail momentarily raged on around Weavile and Gallade, blinding both Challenger and Gym Leader. Sounds of fight could be heard inside the storm, until it finally subsided, showing Gallade as the pokemon still standing. Candice sighed, returning Weavile onto its pokeball. "Great job, Weavile. You did your best."

Despite the loss, Candice smiled, being handed a badge and a TM by an assistant. "Challenger Dallas! Excellent work defeating me. I hope I showed you how strong ice types can be, even disadvantaged." She walked over to Dallas, handing him the Icicle Badge and the TM 15, Blizzard. "Congrats on your new badge!

Dallas obtained the Icicle Badge!
