[GYM] Leon vs. Fantina - Rematch!

Leon's heart raced as he entered the gym only to be greeted by a worker. It was embarrassing coming back after such a horrible forfeit but he had to face his demons if he was to become a ghost trainer like her. Shutting his eyes tight, he pictured his mother smiling at him and softly reminded him that Fantina wasn't that witch back home.

He took a shaky breath before looking at Fantina, still scared but not as much as last time. "I..Im sorry about before, that was really unprofessional..." He said although it was barely audible. He watched the coin flip and weighed his options. Nodding to himself, he took out two pokeballs from his pocket

"Nell, Koko. Lets go!" The two pokemon burst of their balls. Nell, his shiny Trevernant stood tall and proud while Koko fluttered about in the air, filled with excitement. The two had never had an official battle before but Leon made sure all his pokemon were up to par. 

"I'm using Nell first." Leon gestured to Nell who stomped out onto the field.

For a moment Leon relaxed when Nell received the compliment but he had to stay focused, this was a chance at redemption. He didn't win the coin toss but he believed in his pokemon. Seeing the duskull meant a whole new moveset to remember but at least he knew what the Haunter was packing. "Okay, stay calm." He muttered to himself.

Nell bark cracked as it stretched before seeing several wisps surround him. He didn't bat an eye and moved out of its reach before it could touch his leaves. "Good work. Shadow Claw!" Leon retaliated. Nell right hand raised up and covered itself in darkness before slamming towards the Duskull.

Nell look worried as the flames turned dark and sinister but he didn't act on his own without Leon's instruction. Leon quickly analyzed the situation and raised hos hand. "Dodge and go with a feint attack!" 

Nell moved out of harms  way, rather quickly for a Pokemon of his size. He turned to Duskull and looked innocent before suddenly slamming a fist in it's face.

Leon felt the urge to eat a whole bag of jellybeans but he had to remain calm. He watched as Nell smashed into Duskull's face, feeling slightly sorry for it but then noticed another will-o-wisp forming. "Back off and then use Shadow Claw." 

Nell lumbered out of range with ease, circling before bring out a ghostly claw to the duskull.

His heart began to race from anxiety as the battle began to favor Fantina. He was fighting an inner battle to run but he shook his head and grounded himself there. Nell swiped the air before seeing Nuit appear and take a nasty sludge bomb, thankfully shaking off any poison.

Leon brain whirred to come up with a new strategy. He looked to Nell before back at Haunter. "Okay Nell, bare with it and use Feint Attack."

Nell gave a weird chuckle before approaching Nuit and suddenly punching him without warning.

Nell was no fool and glared at Haunter as he tried to confuse him. The tree pokemon shrugged it off and looked to Leon. Without a word Leon gave a nod and Nell turned and swiped with another Shadow Claw at Nuit.

Leon expected another sludge bomb but when he saw the ball of ghost energy, he quickly switched Nell out and had Koko fly out, taking the hit. The little bat fell to the ground with a squeak but she quickly recovered and fluttered back into the air. "Sorry Koko but can you let Nell rest." Koko squeaked and gave a determined look...which was just so damn cute.

"Koko, Shadow Claw as well." Leon commanded, praying she would hit. Koko's claw wasn't as big as Nell's but she did her best and tried to claw at Nuit.
