[ Wild Encounter ] Cornered!! - Dallas, Maiko, Darcy, Ro

An explosion occurred in the near distance, causing a few Shroomish to fly into the air. Dallas was revealed as the smoke cleared, having his scarf covering his mouth from the spores. The Pokemon that caused the explosion was none other than Dallas' Munchlax who had just used Fire Blast. It then pulled up it's own miniature version of Dallas' scarf back over it's mouth to avoid breathing in spores. "Good job!" Dallas knew Charizard or Drapion would be better and easier for this job, but Munchlax needed the experience, and based on it's recent progress, Munchlax has been doing pretty well.

A few more Shroomish came running out from bushes. They didn't look like they were using a specific attack, they were just waddling towards our Pokemon and screaming. They made their way to Munchlax, kicking their little mushroom feet at it, but Munchlax was taking no damage. They seemed harmless actually despite shooting off spores in the air. Dallas then began stroking his chin. "Hmmm... maybe I should stop attacking first and assess the problem logically." Dallas figured the best way to handle this would be to rangle up the Shroomish and send them back to the forest peacefully, but before he could have the chance, one of the larger Shroomish came forward, crying out. It was challenging the group to a battle. A battle battle. "Uh, wait we just wanna hel-" Dallas was interrupted by a bright glow from the Shroomish. It suddenly grew legs and a tail, the light around it began spiraling upwards and then fading as quickly as it came. This Shroomish evolved into a Breloom who immediately kicked off the ground, it's tiny new-grown claws glowing, heading straight for Munchlax. It was using Mach Punch! The Breloom sucker punched Munchlax square in the face, sending it backwards. The Shroomish around it began cheering. "Well, so much for that plan..." Dallas threw his arm outward. "Munchlax, you're okay! Use Gunk Shot!" Munchlax groaned, shaking off the damage. It's stomach inflated, allowing it to send out a disgustling glob of purple slime at Breloom. The Breloom shot at the Gunk Shot with a Seed Bomb attack, causing a collision. Dallas grunted. It looked like this job was about to get a bit more difficult.

Dallas clenched his fist. Right before the battle really took off, he felt another person bump into him. Turning to see it was none other than Maiko. "You!?" He was shocked, but now wasn't the time to to focus on that. Breloom was coming with another attack. It charged at Munchlax once more. It looked like it was using Headbutt! "Alright, this time we're prepared, use Counter!" Dallas yelled out, thrusting his arm forward. Munchlax crossed it's arms in an X-formation, awaiting for the impact. As Breloom made contact, Munchlax stayed firmly on the ground, it's body giving off a red multicolored glow. Munchlax positioned it's body, turning to a different direction and launching Breloom down the road near Darcy and Ro. Dallas rushed towards them, preparing another attack. "Both of you, take cover!" Now wasn't exactly the time for a reunion, he figured he could do that afterwards. "Munchlax, Fire Blast, let's go!" Munchlax arrived seconds after Dallas did, almost out of breath. It used as much energy as it could to spit out a large fire ball that transformed into a star as it made it's way to Breloom. Breloom looked up after recovering from the Counter, not really having much time to react properly. The Fire Blast burst into Breloom, causing it to fall to it's knees. It looked like one more hit would do it, but Munchlax seemed to be at it's limit.

Dallas took a deep breath, still covering his mouth with his scarf. "Alright. Let's settle this." He walked over to Breloom slowly, taking out an Oran Berry. "Remain calm, I'm not gonna hurt ya... er... anymore." Breloom growled and was prepared to battle some more, but Dallas continued walking towards it, he closed his eyes and walked with the berry out in front of him. Breloom was slowly but surely calming down as well. It took the berry from Dallas, consuming it well. A bit of it's energy was recharged. "Okay. Breloom, you and the Shroomish are causing trouble for the other people. We need for you to round up the gang and head on back to the forest." Breloom looked left and right, tilting it's head. Dallas placed his hand gently on Breloom's head. "Go on back to the forest." Breloom looked up at Dallas without any form of expression. It simply turned, screeching out for it's little Shroomlings who all yelped back at it. It seems it was just a simple misunderstanding of some kind. The Breloom and the Shroomish collectively made their way back to Eterna forest. As they left, Dallas wiped his forehead. "Well that was kinda pointless.... um?" He then turned to his Munchlax who looked exhausted. Taking out it's Poke Ball, Dallas returned it for a rest. "Nice work today, I'll make sure you're able to eat your heart out." The group noticed the spores in the air slowly being pushed away by other trainers calling together their flying types to blow it away with a gust attack. It looked as if things were wrapping up pretty quickly. "Welp. Guess that's it then?" Dallas turned and stretched.
