Marill quickly rolled out of the way from the second Electric attack, yelping as she felt the impact of it behind her. Damn, that was a… really powerful move, Taemin had to admit. And he needed to touch the Bounce attack up with Marill later, he noted.

“Nice dodge,” Taemin called out to Marill, who let out a small ‘whew’ after she hopped back to her feet. “Play Rough.”

Marill hopped towards Miltank, reaching over to grab its horns to fling her to the ground.

Marill dodged Thunder and took 0 damage!

Marill used Play Rough!

Marill’s Huge Power ability activated! Increase the base damage of the Pokémon's Physical Attacks by 50%.

Miltank yelped as her horns were grabbed and she was slammed against the ground, mooing in protest at the way Play Rough was executed. Standing up and shaking herself off, she waited for Bryony's next call.

"Zen Headbutt, quick."

Miltank hunched over a bit, energy forming around her head as she charged at Marill to ram her head against the Pokémon.

Miltank was hit by Play Rough! Took 175.5 damage.
Miltank used Zen Headbutt!

Bryony watched as Marill flinched from the attack, quickly calling out her next move to ensure Marill didn't bounce back and hit first.

"Thunder!"

Miltank raised her arms in the air, creating a dark storm cloud above Marill that had a shot of lightning shoot down from it to try and hit the opponent.

Marill wobbled from the second hit before toppling to the ground, dizzy from the impact. Taemin chuckled and took out his Pokeball, summoning his Pokemon back in a flash of red before tucking it back to his belt.

“Nice job, farmer girl,” He said as he went up to her, nudging her lightly. “What are you so worried about? You’ll do fine against Wake.”

He winked at her playfully and turned to head into the hotel. "Now come on. You should get some rest before the big day."

Bryony took a shaky breath of relief when the move finished the battle, having been more tense during this practice battle than usual. Perhaps it was due to nerves for the battle the next day that had her so tightly wound-up, considering Miltank still had a considerable health advantage by the end of the battle. It was somewhat silly to be so hesitant, in her own opinion. But, well, she won.

Maybe she might have found a good tactic after all. Although, that was to really be seen later.

At Taemin's nudge, she came back to herself and smiled a bit, nodding. "Yeah... yeah. I hope you're right."

With that, she summoned Miltank back into her ball, walking back into the hotel to get a good night's rest.
