Welcome to Canalave City, site of the grand Sinnoh Canal, and home of Byron, the Steel Type Gym Leader.
Ever alive with the constant flow of ships in and out of the city, Canalave is anything but untraveled, being most frequented by tourists in their arrival to Sinnoh, and by industrial freighters bringing traded goods in and out of the region. Pokemon and people alike are always hard at work on the docks, but ever since the recent events involving the revival of a certain Team, the waters of the city have become calm, and less and less traffic has come in for one reason or another, to little understanding of the cities inhabitants.
Overlooking the docks stands the city Gym, a Rebarb and Steel tower, almost patchwork in design from a distance. Up close however, it is clearly all intentional in its' design, with every twisted metal piece and support serving its' purpose, making the building nigh impenetrable from even the strongest Pokemon attack. the inside is similarly designed with extremely ingenuity, and to fully ascend the tower, each challenging trainer will need great cunning and fortitude to reach their final destination, the roof of the spire, where Byron, the Man of Steel himself, awaits them.
