Welcome to Pastoria City, home to the Great Marsh of Sinnoh and Wake, the Water-Type Gym Leader.
The city is constantly blanketed in the white noise of the garden ponds and natural life of the marsh both from water and from the forestry. Smoke from the fireplaces in homes twirl around in a duet with the breeze, and the smell of cooked seafood, their main style of dish, casts an almost exotic aroma in comparison to the other regions of Sinnoh.
The Gym rests at the north point in town, a narrow moat-like creek surrounding it with a small wooden bridge that lead to the front door. Inside, water outlined the area, cutting off the bleachers like a border, and another bridge of planks led to the Gym floor. In the center sat Wake on a chair, awaiting those who would battle him and feel the true might of not only his, but Water Pokémon as a whole.
Keep a level-head, Trainers, for you might find that water isn't as peaceful as it appears.
