Naomi awoke shortly after the Vander fiasco with a jolt as Barnaby slammed the brakes outside the Celestic Town General Hospital. It was a bit disorienting, but all the students were rushed off the bus to be properly evaluated. Most of the students had to undergo some sort of surgical procedure, but Naomi argued with the doctors to allow her to remain in her attire. She didn't need to check in, she was fine, so she spent the morning at the Pokémon Center with any others who didn't need medical aid.
Later that day after getting only a few hours of sleep Naomi ventured back to the hospital to check to see if Vander was finally out of surgery, he wasn't allowed any visitors in the morning. She walked into the main lobby and informed the front desk as to who she was and who she was looking for, to which she was instantly directed to the appropriate wing of the hospital. After a brief trip to the gift shop and an elevator ride up a floor she found herself in a brightly lit, seafoam green hallway. Stepped out and began walking in the direction of his room while her boots clacked against the tile floors. Once she found the proper number she checked it over with the directions she had been given on a notepad and walked over.
She raised her hand to knock, but hesitated for a moment. What would Vander look like? Was he even going to be awake? She figured that she could at least pay her respects with a gift that he'd see when he awoke. The sound of voices resounded against the door in muffled whispers which prompted her to assume that he was awake and potentially had visitors. She briefly knocked before opening the door and stepped inside the sunlit room. The redheaded boy was standing nearest and as she walked in the sight of a blonde boy in a wheelchair and a blonde boy in bed came into view - and they were all awake.
"Hey. I'm glad to see you all up," she said, catching herself from mentioning that she was happy to see them alive, rather than dead after last night. She shifted uncomfortably in her place, before inviting herself to move around the two boys to get to Vander's bedside closest to the window. She unwrapped the plastic around the blue tulips that matched the color of her eyeshadow and placed them in the vase that was already filled with water and some complimentary flowers. Then, she pulled out a Cranidos Chocolate Crunch bar from her pocket and placed it down on the table. Then, she took a seat on the window sill and looked to Vander.
"It's not much... but chocolate always makes me happy," said Naomi with a momentary smile.
