Davina was born in Snowpoint City as the only daughter of a successful ice harvesting family, in which she posed as the heir. Because of their wealth, Davina grew up to be spoiled in not only materialistic luxuries, but in love, affection and everything her family had to offer — though it came with the price of living a very strict lifestyle. As a family built on business, upholding a respectable and glorified reputation has always been the most important task in her parents eyes, but with Davina being the only one to continue this legacy, it forced a significant amount of pressure on her to remain a graceful, poised and respectable young girl who would hopefully one day become the businesswoman her parents raised her to be. With age, however, Davina's tolerance to live a life she never got a say in soon wore ice thin. Being the heiress to a company, as hard as she tried to make it work, was never her true purpose or dream — instead, she wanted to battle; she wanted adventure — so when her parents refused to let her live such a life, she started to act out. Snowpoint City is more known for homing Candice and her elite gym of ice-type's, to which Davina grew envious over as time went on. She spent most of her free time sneaking out of the house to watch Candice take on Trainers from all over the world, until one day she finally got the courage to ask Candice to battle her and Eevee to a one on one match. Davina's naive ways and lack of battling skills made Candice's victory easy to obtain, which only fueled Davina's anger and envy further. The following evening, the Frost family were hosting their annual Christmas party where business associates from across the globe would come dine in their home — it was perhaps the one day of the year where Davina's perfect persona had to be her complete focus, though her bottled up emotions saw to it that the evening would be ruined in a fit of rage. Humiliated by their daughters actions, Davina's parents saw to it that she would be disciplined beyond imagination for not only going against their wishes and obtaining a Pokémon for battle, but for also causing drama in front of elite guests. Davina pleaded her case of wanting more in life than business meetings with clueless strangers, but her parents saw to it that she would be locked in the family manor at all times with constant supervision until she could learn to behave. Davina continued to act out against her parents wishes which only caused tension to grow higher, so as a means to end her selfish ways, the Frost's confiscated Eevee from Davina. However, now with nothing left to lose, Davina used the help of her lifelong handmaiden to retrieve her Pokémon back and escape the manor in order to live out her true dreams and desires as Ice Queen of the world.
